Hop trellis – As avid gardener it can become a little monotonous to look out on the garden without having the opportunity to come out rooting in the ground, although it certainly has its charm !, so I think it’s nice to sit and think back to the things we have made in the garden throughout the year. Here’s a little about one of the projects from last summer. At our entrance, we have made a boundary so it is not immediately possible to survey the entire backyard from the hop trellis.
The limits we have made with a hop trellis of black-painted pillars and a number of threads made of ordinary fence wire. The wire is pulled through some pretty heavy screw rings. We have experienced elsewhere in the garden to the thick layer of snow has pulled the eyelets of the posts, so they must obviously be relatively strong to keep. Possibly. You can probably use cramps. We also considered ironed instead of wires, but the thread we had in advance so the determined choice.
The tiles are laid quite traditional, and is recycled from a terrace that was there before, complemented with tiles from a colleague who had some to spare. To give some atmosphere and to create an eye-catcher at the hop trellis, the idea that we will place one of copper fountains in a corner. The idea is that we will make a kind of show gardens, so we will try to place several products in natural surroundings.
