Vintage lounge chair – If you have an old armchair that starts to look worn and you are considering a new look for the room anyway, do you know your options before you start thumbing through furniture catalogs looking for a replacement. Before you buy an expensive new chair to replace the old worn one, take a trip to your local fabric store and see if you can find an upholstery fabric that you can reupholster the chair to vintage lounge chair.
Remove all staples from the chair using needle nose pliers. Remove all fabric and batting from your chair without ripping the fabric. Place new fighting on the chair, stapling it in place with a staple gun. Drape new fabric over the back of his chair and tuck in the sides and on the back. Staple the fabric to the back of the frame of the chair on top.
Pull fabric taunt along the back of the chair and adhere. Place the new fabric of the seat and slide the extra fabric at the sides of the seat to the bottom of the chair. Pull the fabric taunt on the underside of the seat and stick to. Pull the fabric on the vintage lounge chair scorn on each side and staple it in place. Wrap the end of the new fabric around the arms.
